Here's exactly what you can expect when you enroll in our 8-Week Phlebotomy & Venipuncture Certification Program.

The Format

Our program is hybrid — meaning you'll have a combination of online coursework and in-person, hands-on clinical training. We meet 2 days per week, designed specifically for working adults who can't walk away from their responsibilities to go back to school full time.

In 8 weeks, you'll go from complete beginner to certified, job-ready phlebotomy technician.

• Anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system

• Venipuncture techniques — the proper way to draw blood safely and accurately

• Capillary puncture (fingerstick) procedures

• Blood collection equipment and specimen handling

• Infection control and safety protocols
