Stay on the Wheel — God Isn't Finished With You Yet

There is a moment in the shaping of clay when it looks like nothing. It's wet, it's unformed, it's spinning — and to an untrained eye, it looks like a mess. But the potter isn't worried. The potter sees what it's becoming.

That image has stayed with me through every season of building Blue-Sky Careers & Training™. Through the long nights, the slow seasons, the moments I wondered if it was all going to come together. And every time, I felt the Lord saying the same thing:

Stay on the wheel. I’m not finished yet.

The Season Before the Breakthrough

If you're reading this in a hard season — a season where nothing seems to be moving, where you've been working and praying and waiting and you're starting to wonder if you missed it — I need you to hear this:

You haven't missed it. You're in it.

Romans 8:28 tells us that ALL things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Not some things. Not the comfortable things. ALL things. That includes the rejection, the delay, the detour, and the door that closed right in your face.

God Doesn't Just Open the Door — He Prepares You FOR It

We spend so much time asking God to open doors. But what I've learned — through 16 years in healthcare, through ministry, through building this training center — is that God is far more interested in preparing you for the door than just opening it.

An unprepared person in an open door is a disaster. A prepared person in a closed season is a miracle waiting to happen.

Isaiah 41:10 AMPC says: Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties. I will help you. I will hold you up.

He's not just holding your hand. He's hardening you. Strengthening you. Pressing you. Because He sees what you're becoming.

Don't Abort What He's Perfecting

The potter doesn't stop shaping the clay because it's hard. He presses harder because he sees what it's becoming. The pressure IS the process.

So if you're in the pressing right now — don't jump off the wheel. Don't abandon what God planted in you just because the heat got turned up. The very thing that feels like it's breaking you is the thing that's building you.

Your career. Your purpose. Your next chapter. It's all still in play.

This Is Why Blue-Sky Exists

I didn't build Blue-Sky Careers & Training™ just to run a training center. I built it because I believe that education is one of the most powerful tools God uses to elevate people out of where they are and into where He's called them to be.

Every student who walks through our doors carries a story. A dream. A season of pressing that brought them here. And our job — my job — is to help them turn that into a certification, a career, and a calling.

If that's you — if something in this post is stirring something in you — don't ignore it. That's not an accident.

Stay on the wheel. Your moment is closer than you think. 💙🚀
